Am I the only person who still has a product or two (more more) that you used before joing LHCF, found out the product has some "bad" ingredient, but you still use and LOVE?:kisses:

I love me some Let's Jam Extra Hold Conditioner. Nothing makes my edges lay down better - no dryness - no breakage - no product buildup (even with mineral oil as the first ingredient).

What do you use that is a no-no :nono:, but your hair loves :lick:?

I agree...I now use Let's Jam Extra Hold along with aloe vera gel...but I can't let go of that Let's Jam...I know, I know #fail

vaseline on my edges occasionally (and it works like a charm).....

running out of thread to hide

I still use oil sheen - number one ingredient; mineral oil. I'm going back to grease because it lays my edges down better than gel, but I am trying out some natural greases.

GREASE. Yup, grease. I shole do. Esp if I am putting my hair into cornrows or C&G braids. I will wet the tiny section of hair, massage in some Kenra MC, and then slather that little section of hair with good old grease. When I take my hair down it is soft. That grease holds the conditioner into my hair and won't let it escape.

I also do this technique using coconut oil or Vatika oil. But grease works like a charm in this instance.

Oh yeah, I still use a brush too, just to lightly smooth down my hair before air drying with a scarf - not nearly as much as I used pre-LHCH, I would brush the crap of my wrap to get it to lay down - I had no edges on one side of my hair.:naughty:

Dax!!!!! I know. but there is still some left in the house when my brother was trying to get waves... It hold my edges and nape down like WHAT!!!!!
Shhhhhh Dont tell Nobody (pop's Voice)

Not to say that I have not stopped using a lot of "bad" products, I am so happy that I am in the company of grease lovin', sulfate shampooin', and vasoline using (I still can't get over that one) women that still brush and comb their hair! LOL

Blue magic hair grease. Works wonders on my hair and keeps my ends on my head. It helps with my hair not breaking when I damp bun.
