Motions moisture plus conditioner, silk elements mega cholesterol and island oil.

That is a good one. I might prepoo with that tonight because last nights henna left my hair a little harder than I like.

i use it to exfoliate my skin, whiten my teeth, scour pots/pans, soften my feet during pedicures, clarify when mixed with shampoo, remove odors in fridge/freezer, mix with sparkling water to create club soda....

for .50 cents a box, it is a great all around product.

Girl you aint neva lied!

Gymfreak you are a serious PJ!!! I went to the Indian store to pick up some Henna last Saturday and she didn't have anymore  the first thing I thought was "Gymfreak bought all the d@mn Henna"

But I found another store closer to my apartment!

JB castor oil. Use your leave in and then apply palm full of JB castor oil followed by the scarf method. When you wake up hair is straight non greasy and those edges are smooth. Ladies dust off that bottle and don't sleep on JB castor oil.:) :)

Razac Perfect For Perms!!! I think this line gets skipped over quite a bit because the packaging looks so generic for some of their items & it dosen't get as many raves as other lines. But, this stuff is HEAVEN for my hair. Especially the liquid leave-in, finishing creme & glossing polish!!!

Maine N' Tail Shampoo and Conditioner - I don't see very many raves about this product but it is a staple of mine and I  it.

There's a thread devoted to Mane N Tail users...

I think things have just died down a bit...but I used the conditioner a long time ago and Southern Girl got me back to reimplementing in 2004...it's my staple light protein conditioner.:)

I love the oil spray from this line. The only reason I stopped using it was because my husband didnt like the smell. (I liked the smell!)

I have the spray and the creme. The Dominicans use the creme right before they wrap my hair so I do the same at home. They love this stuff at mine. Just a dab rubbed into my palms and smoothed over my wrap, then I tie it down. I also use it to smooth my crown from flyaways and sometimes on my ends. In humid weather it helps prevent the frizzies for me for some reason. I use the spray on my dd's hair for moisture and shine.

:sekret: I haven't mentioned it before b/c when I first joined, I think someone said it wasn't good for the hair. Maybe something in the ingredients? I can't see mine b/c it's practically all rubbed off. LOL.

ETA: Here are the ingredients from the hair oil. I never looked at it before so you know I bought this before LHCF! It has Mineral oil so that's what it probably was that made someone say it was no good. It has some other great stuff though. Here it is in order:

Isopropyl Myristate
Mineral Oil
Safflower oil
Coconut Oil
Almond Oil
Wheat Germ Oil
Lanolin
sesame Oil
Vitamins E, A and B
Fragrance

I need to see the ingredients from the creme.

Silk elements cholesterol and porosity control

For all of my underprocessed ladies, porosity control and silk elements cholesterol have been my best friends lately.

The silk elements cholesterol makes my hair very moisturized and easy to comb despite two different textures in my head. It smells nice and is cheap. I you need quick effective slip then this one is for you.

Porosity control has also made washing much easier. I have been using it before condition for just a mintue. If you has underprocessed hair then give it a try. It helps even out the porosity and therefore makes your strands much smoother and easier to manipulate. Go get some!!!!!

Suave Coconut Conditioner! It works great for co-washes and as a light leave in!

Wild Growth Hair Oil (WGO)!
It might not aid in the growth of your hair, per se, but it is an awesome sealant and adds needed shine to my hair.

Pantene Damaged Hair Masque!! Leave that sucker in for an hour, wash out then follow with a cool rinse and your hair will be in heaven!

Twists! Seriously, twists are saving me right now. It is such a versatile style... I wash, condition, deep condition, then apply leave-ins to wet hair. Then I detangle and twist wet. Let airdry overnight and the results are beautiful. :)

I haven't used that in a while. I got a jar for 2 bucks at walgreens. I might have to break that out for my friday wash

Conditioner - V05 Strawberries and cream. Amazing slip thick creamy and smells great. Great for pre-poo or co-wash

Leave in- NTM leave in. The best tangle buster!

NTM hair serum- makes hair so soft

IC Fantasia hair polisher- the best shine ever!

ORS Olive Oil - makes hair so soft. Great for your ends.

Elasta QP Mango butter - great for your edges. Slap that on and a scarf...instant fresh perm

Castor Oil (the plain drug store type) has thicken my hair like crazy!

I took all my plaits out last night and laughed :lachen: when I looked in the mirror - my hair looked exactly like SIDE SHOW BOB from the Simpsons!

Since I wear an instant weave - this is not a problem.

The cream in the jar or the liquid?

I have to try that.

THE BEST HAIR PRODUCT EVER IS.....Hair Mayonnaise (forgot the brand name) It comes in a jar with a green top & red lettering. Totally makes the hair soft & managable...I swear by it. ALso I love (but can't find anymore:( ) Garlic Conditioner for $1 - not the $4 bottle.

Almond oil. I think me and one other person on this forum uses it!:p

Whenever oils are mentioned, it's rarely brought up. Theres no other oil like it. Light and makes my hair sooooo soft!

I use SAO too...nearly every day. I usually sleep on Ojon Restorative Treatment or coconut oil though.
