DOMINICAN Salons???

What are the benefits of going to them and WHERE would I be able to find one that's near Wisconsin, 'cause I sure as hell don't think there's one in this state...MAYBE in Milwaukee...help ladies!

What I've noticed so far that might be the main common plus for the Dominican Salons... the majority of them know how to treat the curls of the Black women... They usually don't play rough & will be one of the first to tell you when your hair isn't doing well & what to do to fix it!

Also they work VERY QUICKLY...
They seem to understand that time is $ & $ is time!! THANK GOODNESS, Someone who read the manuscript BEFORE the movie!

As for seeking one in your area, hopefully someone can help or you can even look on the internet for Dominican Salons in Wisconsin... That's how I ran into one of mine...

Go to any salon that do not have black stylist that have been trained to do hair the same way from the time they were born to today. We are brought up watching our mothers and grandmother sit in the kitchen doing each member of the familys hair, We would laugh and tell stories. We have the idea that this is the way we are suppose to do hair, work on hair, tell stories,eat a little, work on hair, ect. We don't think about the more people we work on the more money we make, and we don't go to shows or classes, to continue our education to do better and faster work.

You are better off coming on down to Chicago. There is a couple in Chi. Go to the salon section of the forum.
