What's the deal with them? I keep seeing so much about them on this board and anytime I search "hair" on the web. Are they better/worse than other typical salons or what is it?

Most people like them because there blowouts get your hair straight and they are also very cheap. Here in NY, you can pay $12 to $15 for a wash and set.

i looooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeee
me some dominican salons. first of all they are cheap and very fast.
second of all i love the fact that i dont have to get a full blow out for my hair to be swanging and soft.
i just got a press and curl and my hair is breaking a lil bit.
for the three weeks that i was going to a DS every week my hair NEVER shed or broke in between that time.
when my curls drop i am going right back to the dominican salon
