hello ladies i am a fairly new member here and
i just wanted to say this is one of my favorite groups.
I just love all the input here but i also feel a little
left out on two things the first one is if anyone here
in this group knows of any good dominican salons in miami
and what are the best protein conditioners for 4b hair?
Thank you

I live in Miami Beach, and there are a couple of Dominican hairdressers in Hialeah.

One is Damarys Beauty on 49th street and the other is Dominican Hair Design on East 25th street. Never been to them because I don't drive, but they should be good.

Hi mitcy,

Welcome to the board!

If you are experiencing a lot of breakage, you can try Aphogee treatment for damaged hair. It's extremely potent. Also there's Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructor and Nexxus Keraphix. There are some others that are pretty good too. I'm sure some of the other ladies can recommend others.

BUMPING...
Have any of you heard of a salon called "L.B.S" or something like that?
I've been looking in the yellow pages, called 411 I think it's in Cutler Ridge.
Also, I've been to Damary's... so ... I'm looking for someone better.

There's one in Pembroke Pines on University Dr. When I lived out that way I went and liked it. There is a separate section under "discussion boards" that lists many dominican salons, addresses, phone no's.

There's one in Maimi shores on NE 2 Ave 86ST I believe. It may be 87ST but I know it's in the 80's. The owner on the salon is named Dina, and the salon has Dominican Flags painted on the front of it. :)
