Hi,
My sister told me about this site and I love it! This is my first time posting btw.
I was wondering if any of you ladies know what kind of setting lotion the dominican salons use for roller sets?
Thank you!!

I don't know but whatever it is it made my 4b nappy hair fell like silk and move like the wind lol.....

I don't know what type of setting lotions Dominican salons use but welcome newbie! /images/graemlins/wave.gif

---If it helps I use Lottabody setting lotions and it works for my hair just fine.

As far as I know they dont really use setting lotions as much as they use leave ins. Some popular "Dominican" leave ins on this board and in salons are Salerm 21 and lacio lacio which can be found on sickbay.biz.

I have lacio lacio and Salerm 21 here at home. Just bought them because of all the great things I've been hearing about them on this site. I'll use them on a roller set and let ya know how it works. Thanks!!

I have no idea. I'm sure different Dominican salons use many different setting agents.

The dominician salon I go to use salerm 21 for my rollersets with excellent results. I have 4b hair.

I have taken my own leave-in conditioners in for my rollers sets (since I don't use setting lotions for my roller sets).

Thank you! I would love to see a pic of your hair. It sounds like you've been doing something right. Waist length? That's amazing.
