Dominican Relaxers

Sorry I couldn't find any previous threads about this. So I am rediscovering Dominican hair products (like CrecerPelo) and I am thinking about attempting self relaxing again.Which relaxer do you recommend and which to avoid. Right now I am thinking about the Baba de Caracol relaxer.

I have used the Silicon Mix relaxer, which I think works well. However, most Dominican salons I am familiar with use a relaxer by Alter Ego.

I used the Halka Baba de Caracol relaxer over the weekend and it seemed a little too strong. I did not base and may have scratched. It burned like crazy!!!

In my opinion, they are quite strong. I love dominican products but I prefer my Affirm, at least it says what's the percentage of lye they are using right on the tub...

I use Linage Lye Shea Butter Relaxer by Alter Ego. Its not a domincian product , its Italian..but its used heacily in the dominican salons. I buy my products from a Alter Ego whole sale distibutor at amazing Prices.
