Dominican blowout...my daughter

Hey Ladies

I brought my daughter to a dominican salon for a wash and set today. Neither one of us has ever been. We were there from 6pm until 11:30pm. It took 4-EVER!!! She got her hair done...me I'm to scared to let anyone near my hair right now.

Anywho, here some pics. I wil definitely bring her back and will take my other daughter as well. they did a GREAT job. It cost us $45 (includes treatment) she said we paid alot because her was was so thick.

(p.s. I noticed that she had some lacio lacio leave in a glass case I asked how much she said NO NO we don't sell to customer only use on client here) i'm like okay...:cool: ..knowing i have some at home!!! (i also saw salerm wheat germ and silicon mix in her stash!):grin:

I hope they are clear enough.

I relax her hair about twice a year...september and spring.

the lady at the salon don't think I should do it all but this kids hair is really hard to manage.
 
beautiful hair, I had the dominicans blow out my 5 year old's hair it came out so nice, she's natural, she didn't cry and they charged me $30 plus gave her a trim and styled her

She's got some hair on her head!! It looks great. And that was my first time hearing of such a long visit to the Dominican's. Usually ladies talk about how they are in and out!!!

that's what I thought. She said for 45mins when she was under the drier it was cool air..then they added 1hour. :confused: but still 6pm to after 11 is long.

Was the end result the curly look or the straight one? I just wasn't sure since the last picture is of her hair being straight.
 
I can't believe they only charged $45. I can see how thick it is, and it's some what relaxed too WoW! I don't see any heat damage, that's a good thing.

How does so she normally ware it? I have a 11yr old and her hair can be drama due to tangles, natural and she wants to do it herself. She thinks slapp'n on jel and slicking it in a pony without combing all the way thru is a style. That's not cute! Especially when I have to wash it.

I have taken her a couple of times to get a blowout, but due to her being natural and we live in humid Houston, it only lasts for that day.

Anywho, they really did a beautiful job on her hair and she is a cutie too. Please tell her to take care of it and not to make the same mistakes we have in the past.

My daughter is natural too. I wanted to get a blow out for her too but thought that would be to much heat and she would cry up a storm!
