Does your hair love heat?

Whew,I was beginning to feel like the odd one out My hair is at its longest & healthiest using low heat once a weekerplexed. I'm VERY careful though, using minimal blowdrying time and heat protectant serums when I flat iron. I guess its all in how you use the heat that really matters.

direct heat is a no-no (unless I'm flat ironing the roots after a rollerset or something), indirect heat is cool. It's about all I use now, no need to curl thanks to the Caruso rollers.

My hair likes heat. But I still use it sparingly. I heat straighten, but not very often. Right now I only use heat for deep conditioning and blow drying (w/out attachment).

My hair prefers the flat iron...now I have been roller setting my hair and I like the roller setting look and it is healthier...but my hair does respond to heat better! So lately I've been flat ironing one week and roller setting it another week. But when I do flat iron I only use the flat iron once a week and that is after it has been washed & conditioned.

ok.... I'm weird. My hair is healthier when I don't use heat (no splits at all and usually moisturized) but it looks puffy at times because I air dry and without heat. I used heat this weekend (because of school) with chi products and I was a happy camper (I'm 6wks post.)

My hair looks better and acts better when I use heat ..

I generally use a flat iron weekly .. But honestly I have been doing one week heat , one week protective/co wash . Seems to be working ok ..

Your Pin Curls look so pretty! Someone needs to do a tutorial on pincurls. I have not ever attempted them myself and have no idea of where to start. I'd love to try.

I blowdry and flatiron my hair about once a week. If I want my hair to bail like hay, let me try to air dry!

About every third week, I'll do a roller set or a twist-out it I have time to sit under the dryer!
