Well ladies i have been lazy the past few days and ddidnt want to wrap my hair so this is what i did... moisturize and bun... and guess what happen... when i took it out and tried to comb it.. alot of hair came out ... long strands for the most part...but i was still upset... i was protective styling and i lose hair... i dont get it... for some reason for me whenever i dont wrap my hair its starts to get a tangled mess.. any one else experience this.?

If you got long strands with white bulb then it is just normal shedding.
Protective styling does not prevent the daily shedding.

^^ ITA - if you go several days without combing/detangling your hair still sheds, you just won't see it till the next time you comb your hair. I basically only comb once per week, and I fingercomb the other days just to smooth my hair out. On DC day I detangle thoroughly, and while it looks like a lot of hair, I can see all the bulbs so I know it's shed hair - not breakage.

If you still think it's too much, try dampening your hair or using a detangling product, and combing it out section by section from the ends up. the less hair you deal with at the time the less likely your are to accidently break or pull any out.

Bumping, I experience this as well and although I know it's shedding it seems excessive. I don't detangle my hair except on wash day and it seems like I lose A LOT of hair. How much hair do you ladies lose on wash day? (if you don't comb daily)
