Does the Shikakai Soap Bar Have Sodium Laurel Sulfates? That is one of the main drying agents that I was trying to avoid by using Indian products. It doesn't say on my box, but the bar itself is red? The brand I have is Nimal. I have the powder which I don't like using but I will if it better serves my purpose.

Anyone know about this?

Hey i want to know as well. Also where are you ladies buying this bar!!! :look:

no. it should not contain SLS or SLES. most contain reetha/aritha/reeta or also known as Sapindus nut. and shikakai also has a soap like feel to it. also known as Acacia Concinna. low suds and low ph. some even put almond oil in the soaps

i just wanna know how to make my own. i'll figure it out.

I used the Swastik shampoo today. Great results! I don't think it has SLS in it. It wasn't very sudsy. It was not drying either. It left my hair silky and it was like it was coated w/smthg.
