I see alot of girls including myself years ago used to wear weave ponytails and my hair wasnt progressing? So whats is the difference with LHCF sistas. Just a question I'm thinking about trying the baggy with it and give the baggy another try. Anyone have good results

There are two big differences:
1. BAGGIE- the baggy method protects the hair from the rough interior of the pony and helps to moisturize
2. We are combining this with overall hair care while many will just use a pony and not wash etc. and may pull the hair too tight causing breakage.

Makes alot of sense. that used to be me I would wet my hair gel it up and wouldnt wash for 4 weeks I know I know ewwwwwww. But now my approach is different just moisturizer on my hair, baggie, and pony tail I'm experimenting to see good protectives for my hair. Thanks:)

I don't do the baggy. I wear the scrunchie pony. I roll my hair in a bun then put the scrunchie around it. It is big enough to cover the bun. The difference for me is that I don't comb my hair to slick it down. I spray it with a concoction at night, put a shower cap on then tie it with a scarf. when I wake up, I do not have to comb it. it is layed down just right for my bun.

When I have more new growth, I wash twice a week because I can't keep it nice without combing for long.

I have retained a lot of lenght this way. And, I don't have to worry about my edges thinning.

I think one mistake people make with ponytails is that they over comb and brush to get their hair laid down nice and slick.
