I just did a Henna treatment yesterday, "check my blog" and I didn't feel it loosened my curl much at all, it just made if feel a little softer the way I did it. Any loosening effect was slight. I think maybe people notice loosening after continued use or when they just do HARD henna treatments where they let it sit in all day and harden. Mine was still kinda wet and soft and it added a beautiful color! Check it out

It loosen my curls while it's in my hair but after I co wash and deep condition my hair curls right back up.

i noticed no loosening of the curl or changing of texture. it made it kind of hard and left me with a ugly reddish brown cast.

My curls after a treatment are loosened for a couple days, then they spring back.

YAY! Thanks guys, I'm glad it's not some permanent alternative to a texturizer thing....
I think I may be jumping on the henna bandwagon soon...
