Hi ladies, I have been trying to work on my porosity via protein and moisture balancing. One test says to run you fingers up and down a strand of hair. If you can feel the hair feels rough when you run your fingers up the strand, then that means the cuticle is not laying down and b/c of this raised position, you have high porosity.
My question(s):
1. Has anyone done this test and found their hair strands are rough?
2. Has anyone been able to change this rough texture? If so, how? Did you use ACV rinses, porosity control, or moisture/protien conditioners?
3. Has anyone changed the porosity of their hair, whether low or high? Is it even possible?
Thanks, if you can answer any of the questions!
