Does anyone\'s braidouts

look worse and worse closer to touchup time?
I am 7 weeks post relaxer and sporting a braidout from hell.My braidouts usually look waaay better than this.I thought this would be the best time to do a braidout but my new growth is just really puffed up,and the relaxed hair is straight in parts,curly in parts.

not really, today Im sporting one of my best braidouts ever(6.5 weeks post relaxer). I find they do best on my hair when its freshly washed(less frizz, more moisture). I airdry w/ the ponytail method most of the way, then braid w/ a little leave in/moisturizer/and/or serum...
