Does anyone own a Gloria head?

You know, that head thing with the realistic hair that beauticians and hair students use to practice styles on? Does anyone have one? I am thinking of buying one so I can practice braiding.

I have the kinky haired one. It hasn't helped me learn to braid, though.

I managed to create an ugly, crooked cornow on the doll. But doing it on my own head was impossible. Everything is backwards or something...

My girls have a few of them (straight hair) that I use from time to time. I resently used one to practice making cornrows that have 90 degree angles, successfully. You can find them at some of the BSS and I think you can order them from Sally's as well. I agree with Sassy that it's different when you do your own hair but you can still learn the basic technique to be modified later (braiding under hand vs. over hand (?)).
