Does anyone not like Henna?

^^^How long do you let the henna dye release and how long do you leave it on your head? Even w/ the acids, it requires several hours to dye release w/ the possible exception of henna grown in Morocco/ North Africa.

^^ i leave the mixed henna in a dark area for a minimum of 24 hours. i leave it on my head overnight...so it's i usually on there for longer than 10 hours. my hair has a few coppery tones that are only present in bright light when i've henna'd. i think that my hair just doesn't soak up the colour that well as opposed to dye not releasing properly.
