Does anyone henna on freshly deep conditioned / oily hair?

I want to try this but I am unsure if doing so would hinder the dye uptake. Can anyone share their experience?

I've done it on dry/dirty hair for the sake of time.

No, it did not interfere with the Color Uptake.

However, I do prefer to do it on freshly Cowashed Hair.

I don't see "Deeply" Conditioned Hair interfering with the Color. Especially if the dye has fully released.
