Henna on colored hair

Can I still use henna if I dye mine hair a deep brown? Or should I use cassie?

If you are using BAQ henna, or a safe, metal salts free equivalent, you'll be fine.

henna won't darken your hair the first time you use it, but the color will become deeper (and darker) the more you use it.

the first time i used henna, my hair was definitely reddish, but after three applications over 3 months, the color became much deeper, and the red undertones were a bit more difficult to see without being under direct light.
