Does anyone have the problem of when it's been say 5-6 weeks into your relaxer your hair becomes unamanageable, dull, and unwilling to be styled? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to combat this?

Keep on moisturizing. My hair sucks when it loses that just ot permed feeling. LHCF made me want to try harder at handling my hair business tho.
Low maintenance styles like roller sets and braid outs, cornrows or buns should do the trick. Just be gentle with your hair as it is very fragile around this time.

My hair definitely needs more attention around this time. More oil is needed for sheen and also on my new growth to keep it manageable. Roller sets work best for me during this time.

When I start to have this prob, I increase my deep conditionings by doing them about 3 times/week. I know that it's time consuming, but for me it's worth it.

I wash more. And I don't even try to wear my hair straight. It usually happens for me around 7 or 8 weeks tho.

If I rollerset I just put it away and stop looking.

if it's warm emough I wash and go.

Like the others I have to up my conditioning, but I also throw a clarifying treatment in there too to remove product buildup.
