I was thinking about cutting one and people keep telling me that they are not in style. I have a huge fore head /images/graemlins/ooo.gif and a bang would probably cover it a bit. Does anyone wear a bang and enjoy having it? /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

If you feel more comfortable with bangs, then go for it. Heck there are a lot of styles that ARE in fashion that should have been banned.

I used to wear bangs, but they were difficult for me, because my hair is so thick and when I tried to wear my hair wash-n-go, I always had a puff in the front /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

i have a bang... about 90% of the time i enjoy it. But when it grow out, i plan on side sweeping it /images/graemlins/smile.gif

When I went to LA I saw several people with bangs...I am thinking about it. My front is growing so nicely though so the jury is still out.

i had a swide-swept fringe bang. i grew it out and it's at my jawline now. i like bangs and i think they are stylish and sexy....

once i gain more length i will be cutting in layers and another swideswept, fringe bang.

I like long bangs, but I hate short bangs. I have bangs unintentionally because all my hair is short due to my not so TWA status right now. Once my hair grows out, I will never cut it again!!! I would do a slightly below chin length bang, though. I think those are pretty...

I think they are in style and I like how they look; however, I think you might regret it. I cut bangs a few years ago and after about 6 months, I wished I hadn't done it, because I didn't like having different lengths and I wanted more versatility. On the other hand, they do grow back, so you don't have too much to lose. I guess I wasn't much help, lol. Keep us posted on what you decide /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I had layers in the front (cut to below my eyebrows) that could be worn as bangs. That gave me versatility, didn't have to wear em if I didn't want to.

I think it depends on what type of bangs you have as to whether they're in style or not. I wasn't a fan of bangs at first but about a month ago, I cut me some bangs because it accentuates some of my facial features such as my cheekbones. (I have a round face). My bangs aren't just straight across my forehead; they are somewhat feathered. I have some pics in my album. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

This is so fuuny you mention this. I had a bang in HS and was recently thinking of getting another one when my hair gets longer and my SO was like, adults don't wear bangs anymore...lol..I don't care what he says...I plan on doin it

I have been wearing a bang since grade school and feel naked without it. I too have a big forehead. Some people have mentioned to me that they think it makes me look less mature, but that's only when my hair grows and the bangs are hanging in my face. I try to keep mine short like up to my eyebrows..

I am sporting bangs at the monent. I like them.

Not every stylist is able to create nice, full bangs. But mine was able to!

I have a big o' bang right now like a childs. I would like to have a swoop bang but I am lacking about a 1/2" to make it fit behind my ear.

I use to wear a bang to cover my forehead now I wear it too cover the grey. I wouldn't mind the grey if it would grow all over but it only comes in on my hairline. dang it!

I have a big forehead too. I like bangs. In fact, I just finished watching Alicia Key's "Karma" video (from 2004) and she's wearing bangs. She looks lovely. So much for "in" and "out" hair styles. In my humble opinion, whatever hairstyle flatters an individual is "in."

Hi Atlien /images/graemlins/wave.gif

I thought of you when I posted pics of my new wig in my album yesterday. I'd been debating about cutting bangs so I got this wig that kinda shows me what I'd look like w/them. It makes my big forehead not so obvious, but now that I have wig options, I no longer feel the need to cut. This might be an option for you if you want something different every now and then, or if you just want to see how you'd look before cutting bangs.
