Does anyone get really good retention for One side of their head?

This side I sleep on is the shorter side for me. I guess that side has poor circulation or is manipulated more during sleeping.

OMG, thank you because I think you just helped me figure out why I back left side is my problem spot. Most of my hair is the same length except that area and that's exactly where I place my head on my arm when I go to sleep. I'm going to trying sleeping in different positions for a while to see if that helps.

The "mohawk" of my hair (my hair down the middle) retains the most length, can handle the most damage, and has a looser texture.

My left side is thinner than my right.

I have the exact same issue with my left side.

@newbeginnings2010; by the way, I love the thickness of your hair.

This is me. I have to treat my left side with extra care. I thought it was all in my head until one of my sisters-in-law blow-dried my hair and was like, "Woooow. You're right. They feel REALLY different!" My hair is texlaxed and the left side is much drier and kinkier than the right side. I'm 4z and 4b . I've just learned to live with it. Recently my left side has started catching up with the right.

My hair is slightly longer and thicker on my left side than right. I'm a pressed natural and my right side reverts more when I wash and is harder to detangle. I'm lefty, I don't know if that has anything to do with it.:ohwell: I'm inching past APL but when I get to BSL I plan to cut my left side so both are equal and see what happens then.:perplexed:drunk:
