Does anyone else save their shed hair to try products on?

i did that for a few months so i could test how long to leave a relaxer on for a virgin relaxer. i didn't want bone straight hair. i have about 4 different textures on my head, so i saved hair from each section in a ziplock bag. if i go back to relaxers, i'm gonna do that again.

i did that also before trying henna for the 1st time just to make sure there wasn't a bad reaction

Did ya'll know your sposed to burn your shed/cut hair. It's bad luck to throw it away because it may be picked up by birds...and something about someone will buy or something..:ohwell:..superstition

my grandma said if a bird got your hair it would make a nest out of it and you would have a headache for the rest of your life :look:

my aunt flushes hers down the toilet

You *****lumps ain't gon' clown me for keeping my hair to test things on. :lachen: I sure wish I would have done it before I hennaed or used that coconut relaxer disaster on my actual hair.

 I don't think that's really safe either, although I'd hate to tell it to your aunt lest she flips out at the thought of what's happened to her hair all these years. :giggle: I mean, the flushed hair can wash up on the shore of the reservoir and be spied by... *gasp, hyperventilate, faint :ill:*....nosy, hair-hunting birds...

:lachen:
