Lol, you're too funny! I used to to this, but I find myself ordering stuff so often now that it's kind of worn off. If it's a re-up, I don't really bother checking, and just make a note of the expected shipping date when I get the email. If it's a new product, I'm slightly more excited, but not stalker mode... I'm a PJ, so I have so much stuff as it is :spinning:

Now, if it's something bigger, like a new computer or a printer or a Pibbs or something. I'm just like you described, lol :coffee2:

hi Tiffer

no you are not the only one...i do the same thing :) and once i get it in my hands it's heaven!!

Yep, that's the way I do it too. It's to the point where I go okay it left (whatever state) today and it'll be here by (whatever day) and guess what? I'm usually right. I think that's not normal.

I found a website that will track your shipments for you (http://www.trackmyshipments.com/ and send you updates whenever the status of the package changes. It is free and works well. For example, if UPS or Fedex drops off a package when I'm not home, I usually know within an hour or less that it is there waiting for me. Basically when you get the first notice that your package has shipped you forward that e-mail to them.

Now why you have to go and post that? Just enabling the madness. Now I got that bookmarked for the next order I place thanks!:look:

I'm too paranoid for that one :nono:.

I'm like you Tiffers but I'm quite patient. I think that has more to do with I generally always have something on the way. I'm waiting on 5 packages right now. Four have to do with hair. I keep every single e-mail I am sent related to the order until it is in my hand and I have inspected it. It will be someone's a$$ if something ain't right.

No, :nono: because I realize that patience is needed when ordering items online, by phone, or by mail. I don't order items at the last minute. If I should run out on my primary hair care products (which I haven't yet) or anything else, then I incorporate my "back up plan," by using my secondary products--and I don't blame the company if my order isn't sent out the same day or if there is a back order. This is how I maintain my sanity by being understanding. Things happen.

Life is just too short to be stressing myself out :wallbash: over mail order items when there are more important things on my agenda.

Cute bun! Now why are u cussing?
A true PJ tracks ANY and ALL packages, whether its a re-up or a new toy. I like to know where my stuff is at all times. I think I just love the anticipation of geting that box, cutting it open and unwrapping goodies. Christmas all year-round!!
Am I impatient, nah. I know when ordering from certain places that it's going to take longer, but that doesn't stop me from checking the status of my order or looking up the tracking number from time to time. I do this if I have 1 or 7 pkgs (don't judge me :look: ) coming.

This thread makes me laugh because I have customers who do this to me!!!! :lachen: Send emails wondering when it will be shipped (5-7 business days :look:),not even an hour after it was ordered...Now I understand why :yep: Patience is a virtue :)

I thought it wast just me who did that. I actually have them send me the confirmation email and I still check every couple of hours. Whenever I see my city listed as the last stop I get that rush....... I run home...... no package outside. Then I think, hmmmm, maybe the kids brought it in already. Then I see that box in the corner and it makes my day!! :-)

Nah, I'm very patient most of the time. I only start checking when it hits like the 2 week mark. Usually I'm in no rush. I have more than enough products to hold me over.

Yup... this is me... I usually don't have "one" order that is coming. It is usually several.. and I like to be surprised as to who delivers first.... :look:

It's like CHRISTMAS!!! That's why I had to stop ordering things online lol

I feel the same way. it is so exciting, especially if you ordered from more than one place around the same time...I am running downstairs playing a guessing game as to who it is from.

I got something in the mail yesterday and my neighbor saw me doing a jig. She looked at me like I had 6 heads...no I just got a GIFT! I may have bought it myself, but it is always a treat to get a non bill in the mail.

omg i missed my delivery yesterday! i was so sad lol. they're supposed to try to deliver again today between 10 and 2, and i've been up since 9 waiting. i wants my package! lol. :look:

I do this whenver I order anything especially beauty products that I am anxious to try. I ususally wait 3-4 days and if I have not recieved it by then I will contact teh seller asking about the status and if they have a tracking number. But I do not stalk them ...:lachen:

What pisses me off is when I order from small businesses especially ebay. I pride myself on paying literally right after an auction ends. This was something that happened to me recently. I waited about 3-4 days because I know they have a life outside their business. Anyways I didn't get it after about 6 days so I contact both sellers and they had not sent it out yet. On top of this one of the sellers had the nerve to expect prompt payment upon the end of the auction but doesn't promptly ship it.

Also I ordered off of this small-medium sized business I ordered mega tek. I ordered on a Thursday. The following Wednesyday ..YES 6 days later...they send me this enthusiastic email telling me that my item has been sent. Now this is not an ebay situation where people are trying to make a little extra. This is an business...why do you send it 6 days later?:wallbash:

Wow and I thought I was the only one. I got an epidural yesterday but did that stop me from getting out of bed to get the 3 packages the postal person left me............................NOPE! My priorities are in order!!

I do get impatient myself. It's like I'm getting a new toy or something. I often call UPS or other delivery companies to see if they can connect me to the driver or have the driver call me so I can find out where he is in the route and around what time I should expect him. 8 times out of 10 times... it works!
