Does anyone do RANDOM TRIMMING?

The hardest part with trimming is worrying about keeping your hair even. Does anyone just trim those sections that need trimming even if they're in random order?

I trim the back of my hair where I'm trying to get it even every 4 months whenever I relax. My front I dust as I see a broken end. I just dust the individual broken hairs though. Every so many months I just even the front out a bit.

I do. I don't really trim or dust. I got through little sections at a time just snipping split ends. My hair has so many different layers than I would definitely miss some ends if I snipped any other way.

Yes, I do random trimming, last week to be exact. I don't mess with the back to prevent uneveness. I just do the sides, crown and my front/bangs. My front is always snaggly and split though. It's like I need to chop off the bang part and start all over with growth. They are so split, thin and snap easy. So I'm not going to cut the front anymore, because it doesn't help.

I did about a 1 inch trim last night. Since I trimmed with my hair hanging to the side instead of strait down the back, I'm calling that a random trim /images/graemlins/rofl.gif
