Does any one use castor oil or palm oil as a pretreatment

I was just wondering if anyone used castor oil or palm oil as a pretreatment with heat or without heat, kind of like the way you can use evoo for a pretreatment. i was thinking of wearing my hair down for chirstmas and new years by doing a roller set, and I wanted to use a heavier oil to pretreat with . Thanks for your input

i do, i've used both, but usually castor oil. I don't do it often anymore because i have to clarify afterwards to get rid of the oil and the smell and i'm trying to cut down on the clarifying. But yes, if u have either one, you can do it. I think they're good oils
