Does ACV go bad?

I've only had a bottle of Bragg ACV for about three months, using it for supplements at one time but mostly just for porosity control.

So I noticed a few weeks ago it has long filmy strands in it. I've got half a bottle left and don't want to throw it away, but it's so gross. The strands are gooey and get stuck in hair. I had no idea this stuff can do that. Is this normal? I have over half a bottle left. :nono:

The Braggs stuff always has stuff floating around in it...idk about it being gooey because I don't pay that much attention but it's not filtered like the other stuff the grocery store acv so you will see stuff floating around. IT's "the mother". But I don't think you need the Braggs brand for your hair. I drink the Braggs and use some off brand filtered acv for my hair.

Are you sure that's not "The Mother"? That's the high nutritive value floaty stuff in the ACV, it occurs naturally. Was it clear when you bought it?

There is an expiration date on the bottle. I've had mine for over 3 months and it stills works fine, I use it the same way for porosity control.

I guess I didn't pay attention. I don't think there was as much Mother in it (lol at mother). I don't like how it sticks in my hair and I can't get it out even while looking at it. So I guess it's good not to use Bragg for this purpose

Yeah, you might want to switch over to the kind in the supermarket, they process out the mother. I have to research why it's called that, btw. However, you don't have to throw out the ACV, it's okay to drink...:look:
