I have been doing this for the past week or so and noticing bettering moisture retention. Anyone else experience this?

The heat does sometimes freak me out though. I wonder if it's too much. But since it's moist heat, it should be good, right?

Haha I tried this in the steam room and sauna. I was called ghetto for doing this. But shouldn't we have something on our hair anyways when we go into a sauna? So why not it be a dc? lol ... o well

Ghetto?!? She obviously does not know what ghetto really is. Stuff like that burns be me up. Anyway, I am not gonna put in energy into that one. Whatevs! I think you girls are on to something. Its always been my dream to put a sauna or steam room in my home when I become a baller cause I love them. But I thought about it and u can multi-task with deep conditioning the hair and burning up to 300 calories (per 30 minutes) and nourish your system/body! Get it. Shoot I wouldn't even work out:lachen:

I used to, I would add the conditioner and soak a wet towel and wrap it around my head. It works like a charm, I just haven't been using the sauna lately.

LOL! Ghetto? I don't think it's ghetto. Girl, you betta' get your DC on. My hair loves it...so does my skin. It's never been clearer.

I don't think it's ghetto at all...I know white women that do it...If your in the sauna often this = dry hair for anyone

I started doing it a couple of years ago and I learned it from a few of my white friends at the gym...I love it :yep:

Is that a very thin wet towel?

I never thought about DCing in the steam room. My hair gets soft and moisturized without adding anything to it after a few minutes. Makes for bouncy twists too
