Do you use mousse...?

...to define curls or give some hold?

I have been considering it as my hair does not like gel. But sometimes I want a little extra hold. I use to use mousse back in the day when I had a wave nouveau. now that I am mostly natural I was thinking about looking into it again. I was looking at the Pantene one today and it didn't look to bad.

So...thoughts?

I have, but few work without drying my hair out. Neutrogena's Triple Moisture mousse being the only one that didn't, which I reviewed a year or so ago.

I've used mousee before and it does define, but for my hair it doesn't last for the whole day and it does not keep my hair from shrinking. It could be the brand I used (can't think of the name). Maybe the Pantene will work better.

Right now I use either Miss Jessie's curly pudding or Kinky Curling Custard. That has worked the best for me as far as a light hold and lasting all day.

I just hate gel.
I use mousse whenever I do my WnGs
Pantene Mousse I don't like so much, Suave is my fave, it doesnt make my hair hard or crunchy or dry feeling.

Garnier sucks and White rain sucks. PLEASE don't try those.

I'm considering it...

I have some Aussie that I used a few times when I was texlaxed. But I look at this bush on my head, and then I look back at that poor forlorn bottle and just :nono:

This BCing means I'm finally going through my gigantic product stash at an accelerated rate. :lachen:

I like mousse, but rarely use it because most brands contain alcohol...which is definitely worse on my hair than using gel, because my aloe gel is alcohol free. When I have used mousse it was Vidal Sassoon or Finesse brand (back in the day, lol). The Profectiv Neutralizing Mousse (for relaxer neutralization) is excellent and quite moisturizing.

Has anyone ever tried a foaming setting lotion?

I have one from Elasta that's alcohol free. I used it for some roller-setting attempts.

i use moose cause i can get second dair hair out of it. i put oil on my hair before i use it, it helps with dryness. i like herbal essence totally twisted, pantene curls, and this on in an orange container tht just has curls on it, that on is at bss not drugstores.

Bumping...

I used Suave Pro Captivating Curls Mousse for the first time this morning and was very impressed. My curly puff/bun was well-defined and didn't frizz at all. Twelve hours have passed and my hair is wonderfully soft and still looks fresh.

I'm truly amazed!

Anyone use this long-term?
