My mom uses the Keracare one and she likes it. I put one of my friends onto it as well. They both have thick hair and really dry scalps that flake from time to time. I tried a sample from my hairdresser but I wasn't crazy about it. I don't have dry scalp and generally don't put anything on mines anyway so it was no biggie for me.
keracare dry and itchy scalp shampoo works well. Also, head and shoulders dry scalp conditioner works too and its cheap. After you wash your hair, apply it to your scalp like its a grease and let it sit for a awhile in your really itchy spots. It helps stop the itchies and moisturizes your scalp. You can get the shampoo and conditioner for 6 -7 bucks. The dry and itchy scalp one doesn't dry your hair out either. I gives you more slip than other medicated shampoos
I use Keracare or Design Essentials, both are really good. I've tried the Neutrogena line but it doesn't seem to do much. Head & Shoulders (blue bottle) also works well. HTH
I use AtOne With Nature's Dry, Itchy Scalp Shampoo & Conditioner, and I it!!! IMO, it has more tingle than KeraCare's Dry, Itchy line and costs much less. Just don't get any in your eyes...it will burn like hot peppers!!!
