Do you tip the wash girl?

I've been the wash girl and the stylist keeps the tips.

Tipping is annoying but I understand why its done. I have never tipped the shampoo person until recently. I go to a salon now where the guy who shampoos gives you a 10 minute head massage. I happily tip him--and then go smoke a cigarette.

I tip anyone that works on my head. I'll typically tip about 20% and then divide amongst who did my hair. The stylist will get the most, then the person that did the relaxer followed by the shampoo person.

I go to the salon with plenty change to make this happen!

Of Course.. b/c if my hair wasnt clean then everything else would be useless.
