Do you think a Phonytail...

Is to "ghetto" for a predominately white, conservative wedding? I plan on attending one this weekend and I really don't want to fool with my hair. Oh I was thinking about doing twist in the front to a phonytail? Also, I was considering wearing dressed up black capri pants (it has little beads hanging down on the bottom) w/heels and a nice top? What can I say, I'm a rebel. Am I pushing the envelope a bit?

As described? Why yes, Twenti9, yes it is ghetto.
Perhaps, forgo the twists and wrap that phony up into a nice chignon. Thumb through some bridal books for some nice conservative styles and adds some embelishments.

I agree with Frosted on wearing a nice dress, and unless it's an evening wedding you probably don't really want to wear black. Um as for the rebel, you can always get drunk at the reception and act ghetto.

I think wearing a phonytail to a wedding, regardless of ethnicity, is appropriate. I've worn one to weddings and received compliments. I made sure it matched my own hair color and I wore a sleek style w/o fussy accessories - so it complemented my outfit instead of upstaging it (

). I agree with the other ladies: forego the twists and black (if it's a daytime wedding) and opt for a pretty dress instead.

Which ever you choose, I'm sure you'll look ravishing.

LOL thanks girl...I asked b/c I always get more compliments whenever I wear some type of twisted style (I think it suits my face more) and also those capri pants (i've never seen any other style like it). Well I will take heed and wear a dress. The only thing is that I need to go shopping (like that's a bad thing

) cuz I don't have any apropriate dresses
