Hello-

I was looking through my Ulta catalog and saw a "Waver" by Revlon. It's actually called a Revlon Pro Ceramic 3-Barrel Waver. I was wondering if any of you ladies have one and if you were satisfied with the results.
Thanks..........:p

I have found that bantu-knots give me nice waves as an overnight set. Plus there's no heat damage involved.

yes. i have one, i use it about 3 times or so a year. I think it makes my hair super cute and i probably will pull it out for my christmas party! Thanks for reminding me.

Yeah I have one. Well two actually. The "waver" is very big compared to the "crimper" I have (you know the old school one that looks like 2 curling irons or 2 S's stuck together). I believe my waver is made my Vidal Sassoon. I think it was like $15 at Target. It looks more like 2 V's stuck together. I like it bc it gets the job done quicker and the hair looks less "done" than with the smaller crimper. It looks more like waves. The regular 3 barrel one reminds me of those hard crimps from the 80s. I have a picture of some straight hair I waved with the bigger iron in my fotki. Hmmmm I might do that this weekend. I only used it once about this time last year.

Here's a picture of the bigger one that I like better:

The regular crimper/waver:

I have a Gold n Hot wave iron and the results were fine, I have not used it in years because I like braidouts better

I have a triple barrel iron...makes really cute hair :) ...haven't used it in a while though.

I bought mine from either CVS or Walgrees...Vidal Sassoon brand.

This is the one I had. I havent used it since 2004.
Once I found that Bantu Knots gave me the same effect without the Heat.
