I was wondering how many ladies here still do this practice and if so how often. Personally, I rarely oil my scalp and if so,it us after I wash it

Like you, once after a shampoo. I don't use petrolatum/mineral oil products though. Olive oil/profective serums seem to do the trick.

My scalp is naturally very oily on it's own. So, I do not oil my scalp.

Boadicea,

What do you oil your scalp with. I need some suggestions so that I can find a good Oil.

I use WGO on my scalp and Keracare essential oils mixed w/ Headdress on my ends. Th WGO keeps my new growth soft and managable.

I alternate between Hairobics Detangler oil and WGO

Boadicea what is the Hairobic like, any good? I love the look of Stephanie's product line.

I use a mixture of alternate products on my scalp

Castor Oil
WGO
Profectiv Root Health

On the temples the Profective Temple Balm.

Every now and then I would oil my scalp with my 7 natural oil mix to keep my hair moisturized. Otherwise, I don't need to do it because of the daily conditioner washes and misting with distilled water keeps my scalp and hair soft and moist.

I'm with you BabyC I'm back on the daily rinsing and spraying with Elasta QP H-Two so I don't have a need to really moisturise my scalp. Plus it's one less reason to meddle in my hair.

I never oil my scalp. The pretreatments and the the deep conditioning keep my scalp in great condition. I general keeps itself moisturized. I just have to worry about my ends.

Aw! Thank you very much! Yes, that's me in the pic a few months ago. My hair is back down to that length but I've been too lazy to upload a new pic.

LD, I like the Hairobics detangler oil because of its ingredients and it smells good (almost like fruit punch). It is a little runny. I put the oil on the part between each cornrow and it drips down, moisturizing the hair inbetween. It's annoying for the first few minutes until it saturates.

So far it's the only Hairobics product that I like.

I'm not sure if I'll buy it again after I finish it.
Not counting the eyelash conditioner which works really well, BTW.

Boadicea,

I love your new website. And it looks that your hair has grown longer from that picture of that site. Cool. I love your regimen too. Is that Hairrobics Oil good? They don't sell it where I live I can't buy anything online so oh well. Just wanted to see your review on it.
