Do you follow the directions?

I've never met a deep conditioner that didn't say: Apply to freshly shampooed hair. I don't do this since I poo once a month. And I'm not finna be in & out the shower, either. :nono: I wonder if it makes a difference?

Do you have something you don't follow directions to, but still works great for you?

I did on the ORS replenishing pack, i didn't sit under the heating cap like i did the first time and i just put a plastic bag on and my hair and my little wooly baby's hair was ULTRA soft.

when i first test a product, i follow the directions to a T. but i'm all about experimenting. i've used a product on clean hair while wet and HATED the results when my hair dried... but then i tried it another time on dry hair i hadn't washed in 3 or 4 days and got good results.

i see the directions as "suggested use." :yep:

I always try to follow directions, but pre-pooing is something I just learned from LHCF and I have never seen pre-poo on my dircections.

I think it's ok to use conditioner alone, most companys say that to get you to also buy the shampoo. They wouldn't tell you that co-washes/deep condition only are the way to go, lost in shampoo sales.

Just my two cents about it.
