Do you "cheat" on your stylist?

I have two different hairstylist - one near my job, one near my home. I find that the lady near my office is more gentle with my hair so I like to go to her for relaxers. But because it's a downtown salon, the hours aren't as flexible, so I go to my regular lady near my home when I can't schedule with her. I probably only go to a salon every other month, so each one of them always tries to slip in something to get me to come more often . . . "Your hair really isn't gonna grow if you're just coming in here every 2 months for relaxers . . . ." I always tip them nicely whenever I go see them, but I hate that they try to make me feel guilty about not getting in that chair more often . . . and I can't help but wonder if they feel some kinda way that I see another stylist in between . . . I mean, if you haven't seen me in 2 months but it's clear I've been relaxed since then, something is up.

(Yes, I know. I have too much time on my hands thinking about silly things like this! )

They're "cheating" on you with other clients, so it's ok. Just consider it an open relationship.

I Like that ^^^^ I'm actually transitioning to a new stylist, but I ask him not to trim b/c I still go to my regular of five years for retouches. I think everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and I prefer to go to one for one service and the other for maintenance, esp. since one is closer, has better/faster service, uses way less heat, is cheaper and offers you coffee, tea or , get this, WINE during your service. Yep, I'll be back!

this was 10 years ago so telling a teenager she has
breakage back then U GOOD
She was my stylist when I went to visit my dad
I'd come home and my other stylist once or twice a year I'd see her
would always ask "are u two timing me"
I would just laugh cause omg I'd cry when
this chick would uptight my hair it was nothing relaxed
about it I would be in tears.
I think the good stylist's name was Tonya in Ohio omg if ur out there girl
My hair loves and misses u lol

I have two men who cut my hair. I love fierce haircuts. My favorite guy is in NYC at this upscale salon and charges an arm and a leg for a cut. I go when I want to feel pampered and have the celeb treatment. Also, I don't have to tell him what style, I want, he looks at me and knows. The other guy cuts hair just as well but I have to bring a pic for him and watch him like a hawk. He is a fraction of the price and I always leave looking good.

I know that's right! I basically use the salon for stuff I *can't* do myself - relaxers and color. (Yes, I know . . . shouldn't color relaxed hair . . . but it's so purty! ) For maintenance stuff I'm basically good!

I cheat with another stylist at a white salon, she's black and the only thing she does is cut my hair once a year or give me a consultation like when I wanted to go red (I didn't).
I cut my hair in January because that's when my stylist goes to the Dominican Republic for vacation She's great with relaxers,not good with blowers and really bad at cutting.
