I usually do avoid it but it's not a really big deal for me if I only use it on my hair for a short period of time, i.e. when I rollerset my hair, I don't mind using the 'bad' stuff.

I do. Mainly because my skin is acne prone (sweating at the gym + mineral oil in my hair = acne) and because it dries my hair out like crazy.

No I don't I have recently 2 or 3mths ago have embraced it and it feels so good my hair has never been moisturized and trust I have tried just about everything under the son to avoid it but hair and scalp need it. I think for me this was the missing piece of the puzzle for my hair journey cause in the past during the 2yrs of journey it never thrived like it does now, its not dry and my scalp doesn't itch. I just wish that I would have tried earlier, but I its okay its a journey right?:yep:

I tried using a moisturizer with mineral oil after applying water and glycerin to my hair, and even though mineral oil is supposedly a good sealant, my hair just didn't feel soft and supple. So, yes I do avoid mineral oil :)
