* Embarrassing question..:blush:*

My friend wants
to know...(she's attempting
to self relax ) *First time* and She
has eh really thick bushy
side burns....
is it okay to relax it to..
.

TIA

Yes. It would look kinda strange to have straight hair on your head, and Afro puffs on your sideburns.

Tell her to relax them last. Sideburns are in the most sensitive points of your hair and face.:yep: It's the best way to avoid burns.

I bleach my sideburns to match my skin tone. Mine are fine, straight, baby hairs and I don't want to make them courser by removing them, so I just lighten.

For some reasons my sideburns are straight, but I would relax them if I needed to, but I'd do that for 5 mins at the most.

i honestly did not know people could relaxe their sideburn.. i thought it would be too close to the skin. I learned something! :yep:

While my hair is 4abz, my side burns are straight :ohwell: but they are TOO much(for me..i think..). On the other hand.. my cousin loves them, she wants me to put gel on them and style them.. Argh not thank you VERY much!

Was those bad boys off and call it a day. If I don't I will look like Big Foots older sister. Just get rid of them

I have to. When I'm stretching more than 2 months, I textlax my front hairline so my halfwig won't look too crazy. Then I slather oil all over it when I go to get a perm to avoid overprocessing.

Yes I do mines. I always do them last and I don't slather a whole lot of relaxer on them. I don't have any skin discoloration or anything from doing this. just tell her not to leave the relaxer on them to long and to do them last.
