I do its something fun to do when im bored in class. i just whip out my calendar and start planning stuff.

Yup. I track my last hardcore Aphogee Treatments, when I get braids or sew in's so I know how only I've had them, last flat iron appointements, and when I add something new to my regimen like vitamins and supplements.

I track it like a hawk. Its exciting when I reach a goal before my expected goal date.

I track relaxers, dusting/trims, washing, styling and results from products used. I take pictures for my fotki,

It has helped especially when i've had a bad hair day due to certain products used - I knew not to rebuy that product and recorded how my hair felt and so forth.

I'm obsessed with my hair and its health. It's like my kid right now:yep::drunk:

Just relaxers. Right after a touch-up, I log it into my yahoo calendar and set myself an email reminder for my 12-weeks and 24 weeks post markers... Everything else, I go by what my hair tells me.

No but I will occasionally measure my hair from where I want it to be. The smaller the number is, the closer I know I am! :)

I have no idea how many inches my hair is though.

I use a calendar to write down a monthly schedule. For example my henna, protein, relaxer, dust. I keep track of which product to use when especially for protein. I switch months with Aphogee and CPR.

I only track relaxers dates, and at the moment I have been tracking how long post my micro, sew-ins etc (since I am doing the C&G)

I track my relaxer touch ups, my weekly appointments, what leave in conditioners I use, how certain products work in my hair, etc...

Do any of you ladies track haircare and progress on a calender? DO you record, last relaxer, when to DC,, and so on?

I have a 'journal' where I try to keep track of every wash and relaxer, so I know what worked or didn't.

I also have a list of products/methods I want to try. I don't really keep track of progress in the journal though.

On my wall calendar, I track my touch ups and hardcore protein treatments because of the substantial length of time between them (12 & 6 weeks, respectively. Memory's not the best.). I recorded when to wash when I did so every 4 days. That got tiring, and I eventually went down to once a week anyway. I track progress dates and product use in my fotki.

Yes. I go by the lunar hair chart. So all those dates are marked for S&D. I track successes and failures of things I have tried, any changes in my hairs behavior, wash&condition, length checks...etc.

Yes!
I schedule when to get braids and when to take them out
I schedule relaxers
I measure my hair when it is not in braids so I can see if there is progress and I write that down to

Yes, it helps to keep me organized when I need to shampoo, condition, steam, trim, deep condition, use sulfur, etc etc. I also keep track of how much sleep I get, if I'm drinking my water, exercising, taking my vitamins, taking my fruits/veggies - but I made a weekly chart for this that I printed out and put on my wall. And I just check them after I do it. When the week is over, I can see what I've done and need to work on to become consistent.

No, I don't track hair care because my routine is a "routine" and I just do it (I'm natural so I don't have to keep track of touch ups). I don't track progress either. If I was the type who was tracking how many inches I get in a certain amount of time, then I would probably use a calendar...but I'm not, so I don't.

Yep. I've been tracking what I've been doing to my hair on a calendar planner since late last year. It's very helpful for scheduling monthly treatments, such as deep conditioning, and heavy protein treatments. I can also look back over the month at a glance to see what I've done, and if I'm doing too much, I can make adjustments from there.

In 2008 I answered this poll and said no. Since late 2010, I have been tracking my hair using a calendar. I have spent the last few years experimenting with different products and methods. I track henna treatments, detangling sessions, clarifying, and steaming.
