u know, like how when they do trials for medicine and give some patients a placebo but psychologically the patients think its making them better?

I wonder if we sometimes do that when it comes to hair products. Do u notice how when sometimes ppl start to rave about a product, it becomes the bandwagon and everyone else loves it too...and when someone says they dont like something, other ppl take that lead as well? I think its kind of funny and wonder if some of this is psychological.

I watch this cycle all the time, it seems like most products are a fad like fashion...lol:) I dont mean it in a bad way, I just find it interesting thats all! But we should all be making money off the advertising we do for these products! Im sure they are getting increased profit from this board alone!

I even remember the post that grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to the store--"When I get ready to detangle my hair... it's already detangled!" No offense to the person who said that!

I was also excited about trying Abba Nourishing Leave-In. It felt like body lotion on my hair.

i definitely do....every so often theres a product thats all the rave and a lot of people go and buy it. then a few months later, posts start trickling in about how the product doesnt work anymore, or it doesnt seem to be doing anything.

same thing happens in skin care too!

I have used products that worked well initially, but stopped working over time. Not sure why, but this has happened to me many times.

sassy, me tooo! There are many products that I try and dont like and I keep trying to give them another chance because they just HAVE to work!!!! lol....sometimes I find a way to like them, sometimes I dont...
