I like to put my hair in a high pony using a scrunci and I tuck the ends under. Just wondering if regular cotton scrunci's break the hair? Does anyone know where I can get satin or silk scrunci's?

TIA

IMO. as long as you don't try it too tight. I try to wrap it a maximum of three times around.

What she said and don't wear the pony tail in the same spot everyday it will weaken your hair at those parts.

I only use silk or satin ones cuz I am not trying to find out they break hair. I wear my hair in a high pony tail with the ends twisted under to bed at night. Been doing this for years with no problem.

I use them all the time without any problems, and I even wear them tightly b/c I don't like loose ponytails.

cotton is a no-no for the hair use silk

I use the satin scrunci which works just fine

Where are you guys finding the silk or satin scrunci's?

Thanks

Ditto. Cotton robs your hair of moisture.

In my experience, I didn't even use a cotton one for my tucked under look and it did a number on my ends. I now pin the ends under instead.
