Do I Need to Clarify?!

I just rinsed conditioner from my hair, applied my leave-in/hair butter. When I looked in the mirror, it looked like my hair is product proof! The stuff is kinda just...sitting there making it look reallllly gross! Think I need to clarify? I've never done it before.

Clarify shampoo helps with buildup of products. Some use it one a month and some once a week. I would suggest to use at least once a week as your first shampoo. Keracare has shamppoo called 1st Shampoo. After you use it once a week then move to every two weeks then once month. But judge for yourself and observed to see what your hair may need. Cleaning build up is good because it allow other products to penetrate and do it jobs better.

Hope this helps!!! ;)

Does it make sense to use a clarifying CONDITIONER as well? I bought one from Whole Foods...would it do the trick if I washed, conditioned with that, and rinsed?

I do not think you should waste you money on clarify conditioner. The shampoo was invented to help with product build up. If you ever notice that on your first shamppoo your hair does not laver as well as the second this is a combination of product build up from last shamppo and overall build over time. You do not need a clarify conditoner just the shamppo will do the trick. The hair industry sometimes becomes greedy and make products to keep us buying; use the conditoner you have been using. Shampoos clean hair shaft and conditioner pentrate hair shaft. If kept your receipt you always return the item

1. Shampoo w/clarify first (only as needed)
2. Shampoo again with regular shampoo
3. Follow with conditoner
