What about the clairol beautiful collection? Has anybody used it and if so, do you like it?

I used it Sunday and it's OK. I may be trying Natural Instincts (demi-permanent) next though.

Hey Jewell, what permie color do you use with no chemicals?

As far as Natural Instincts, I love this color. I used it as a permie, and I plan on dying my hair black with it since going reddish-brown last fall. It has low peroxide so I wouldn't say this is safe to use every month. And because is'm semi perm, I think you're supposed to retouch your roots only.

With a rinse, you can color from root to tip, I believe.

I want to do a rinse. I heard it seals your hair and creates shine. I am planning to get my hair trimmed today and want to know if I should get a rinse sometime in the future to keep my hair and my ends look good...as well as the other things I plan to do. Should I get a rinse????? A clear one though??? And should I go to a salon to get it done??? God bless you all.

semi permanents are usually gone after 16 shampoos, so you can go back over the entire head, if the color is gone.

I have not used clairol beautiful collection, but I have used textures and tones in Red Hot Red (permanent) and clairol radiance in clear (demi-permanent).

The Red Hot Red :look: left much to be desired. It made my hair hard for a while because my hair was holding the color. But after a few shampoos it was back to normal andm my hair was not as red as I wanted it to be. I used a highlight cap.

The clariol radiance (demi-permanent) are glosses and are very similar to color shines without the expense. You have to mix them, 2 oz color to 2 oz low volume developer. The product contains no ammonia and can be used right after a relaxer.

So, the clear doesn't do anything to hair but make it shinier? It adds no color? Does it help highlights that are naturally in your hair show a little more?

Well i hope someone with experience of using the clear rinse can answer, but from what I read I think that the clear rinse ONLY provides a great shine, no coloring properties. So if you have highlights, it wouldn't 'enhance' the color, per se. But it would look really beatiful if you have shiny hair with shiny glistening highlights.

I plan to try the clear, once i run out of my cinnamon color. i've heard the shine looks awesome.... I hope it's BLINDING like Oprahs hair :look:
