Discussion about Edge Control?

I'm surprised that there's relatively little discussion about edge controls on this forum. I know that many of us want our edges to be slicked down.

What gives??

I've never understood edge control, I've never used it and don't get the whole "sleek edges" thing.

Hicks is the truth imo.

I have tried them ALL. Honestly they all work kinda the same just different looks. Tie down with a scarf.
Hicks-shiny, almost straight edges
Ecostyler-encourages waves
Curls paste-halfway between the two, not as long lasting. Good for curly styles when you don't want super straight edges with a fro.

Keracare edge tamer is my favorite of them all.

I have the ORS Edge Control and I had to use it with Ecostyle to really work. But I think it was too thick for my edges because I had some breakage. I don't think they are any good for my hair.
