Diluting Conditioners?

Hey all...I just wanted to know if anyone had tried diluting their regular conditioner to use as a leave in. I'm asking because last night, I deep conditioned with my heating cap, and when I took the cap off to rinse, I had the nicest curl definition that I've ever had. I haven't been able to achieve that with any other product, but my hair was a little sticky because of the thickness of the conditioner. It would really help with air-drying. When I do it now, I have to wear my hair in a pony-tail to control the poufiness. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hugs,
Crys

I haven't tried this but I think(and it's just a thought not fact) that most regular deep conditioners contain some amount of surfactant. This would be like applying soap to your hair and not washing it off. Leave in conditioners don't have surfactant so that is probably better for your hair.

Just a thought /images/graemlins/smile.gif
