I suffered an overproccesed relaxer mid August and now I'm finally getting back on track. I'm achieving length in the back but I still have short hair from my hair line to 3 inches back I hope that makes since. Right now I wear a sew-in weave to get get a jump start on my growth and it has helped out a great deal but I don't want to continue wearing this for very long /images/graemlins/crazy.gif March will be the last time that I get this done before caring for my natural hair. Just out of curiosity if you had this problem and now have all one length how long did it take you to achieve that goal and what did you do to accomplish it. Thank you and Happy Growing /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bump... I'm interested in knowing this too. My hair is growing and so far healthy but the way the top and the front are SUCH different lengths from the back is annoying. I think my hair would look much longer if it were all the same length as the back. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Azalia,

Didn't have this particular problem but a few of the ways you can handle several lengths is this: either wait for the hair to get to your goal length (or close to it) and THEN begin gradually trimming away the longer lengths on a regualr basis (6-8 weeks). You could also wait for the shortest hair to be long enough for you and then even it up completely all in one shot.

I would choose the first option - but that's cuz I'm a baby... /images/graemlins/smile.gif I wouldn't want to lost too much hair at once.
