Found this board last week, started to read everyting I could find.
Purchased the Aphogee products, moiture and oils this weekend.
I have stopped the heat Roller setting only.
I am post relaxer 5 weeks tomorrow.
I dont know if I should have started after a relaxer and trim.
After reading --- taking in soooo much info just confused.

Should I have started with a new relaxer and trim?
Wanted to wait another 2-3 months on trim-- for more length
but I have a few split ends

Just dont know is there a correct way to start my journey
What should I write in my journel???

Well i personally think it's up to you. Now or later, it's your choice. As far as your journal you can put anything and everything. You can put your thoughts, trials and errors, your regimen, wash day, stylist visits, or something not even hair related. BTW, your hair really looks good in your siggy. Welcome!

Welcome.:yep: You will continue to learn so much from this board everyday so give yourself time. I would caution you to not succumb to PJism, don't jump on every bandwagon and to really watch YOUR hair to find what works for you as you develop a reggie. Heat works for some and not others, same thing with 'cones and other "controversial" ingredients/products/techniques. HHG!!!

Some of your questions were not clear, but I think that you are on the right track. Stick to what you have purchased, and you don't have to over do it with the oils. Start out by washing and setting your hair every 5-7 days. You will know when it is time to wash again. Remember if you use a treatment you must follow up with a moisterizing conditioner. Sistalink has a lot of info that will help you in terms of starting out and signs of some things going on with your hair.

Good luck and take it slow. A lot of people do too much I think on here. Add on as needed only.
