I just got a relaxer yesterday around 10 am. But I washed it today. I feel that the neutralizing poo didnt sit in long enough. Plus the product that she put in my hair made it feel very coated. it had a dull look to it. Ladies did I just make a mistake??????

Well if you felt you weren't neutralized for long enough then you may have just saved yourself some breakage by washing your hair again.

I don't think you did anything wrong. Lots of people wash their hair soon after relaxing.

Relaxers are a permanent chemical process. If it was as simple as washing hair to get rid of a relaxer, we wouldn't have all these transitioners! :)

You didn't do anything wrong; I resume cowashing my hair the day after my relaxer, and usually I do a neutralizing poo that first day after, just to be extra sure I am sufficiently neutralized.

So im about to rinse this poo out of my hair. then I will do a honey olive oil and sea salt conditioner.

I dont have a leave in conditioner but I will apply some Elasta QP MB to my hair seal with olive oil then air dry.
