Did anyone think the world was going to end in 2000?

I had heard that throughout my childhood, and whenever I read Revelations in the Bible, I'd get scared.

I am not exactly sure where this belief stemmed from. But the end of the world will come at an unannounced and unexpected time. So I was not concerned about the world ending in 2000, simply because so many people expected it.

Whenever I start to think of the state of affairs that we live in, I always think the end of the world is coming-I can't help myself. And reading revelations (in great) detail scared the ish out of me too-and I'm a grown woman, so don't feel bad.

Haaaaaaaa when I was younger I thought the world was going to end in 2000. I remember even writing a goodbye note to my mother on the computer in December 1999. When we were really young my friend and I thought we were only going to live up to age 13

I thought it was gonna end. Everytime the tv came on there was a earthquake. An in revelations it said there would be all kinds of natural disasters. If I was 15 now I would be scared with these hurricanes and sunamis wiping stuff out.
