Its leaves my hair soooooo soft and tangle free!

Emergencia is considered protein. It contains a good amount of hydrolyzed collagen but it is very moisturizing and slippy on my hair.

I have used it alone and I have followed it with a moisturizing condish. My hair likes protein so I was okay using it alone, but if you're hair is kinda protein sensitive then you may want to use a moist condish after.

Sally's carries a brand called Salon Care Honey and Almond. It has hydrolzed keratin and is super moisturizing. It only comes in a gallon jug though.
